Car Dealership - Stress Free Shopping

Whenever I’m getting ready to purchase a new vehicle, I make certain that I do my homework first. About a month prior to committing to making that major purchase, I start to do some “window shopping”. I normally go to one and find what I want on the car. I’m up front with the sales person I tell them I am just looking. I am not ready to purchase at this time. I am not leading the salemen on to get his hopes up. You can look through the weekly newspapers to see what bargains the car dealerships are offering. Most of the time they offer a limited amount for a certain car. I have never been able to buy the car listed, (it has already been sold but they do have one for several thousand dollars more). Be careful when a car dealerships may be offering a guaranteed trade-in amount no matter what the condition of your trade is at the moment. If not careful you will be paying for this mistake for along time. Some are only offering the rebates and incentives that the car manufacturers are offering.

First of all I am very busy and don’t have time to spend my time sitting in car dealership playing there games. I have a great credit rating. So they need me I don’t need them. This can make a big difference in dealing with the car dealership.

So here is my action plan when purchasing a vehicle from a car dealership 1. First find the make and model with all the options I want included. (2). I pick 3 or 4 car dealerships that I know will compete. (3). I take my business card to the car dealership with the vehicle serial number wrote on back of it. Give it to the sales manager and tell them I am getting 3 or 4 more bids. The car dealership with the lowest price sell me the car. I assure him he has only 1 chance as do the other dealerships. And I would like a price back by a certain time. I don’t spend any time with him, I tell him I am very busy. Remember I am the one buying the car. I decide how I want to do business.

On my last car I bought a Toyota 4 Runner. I saved 1500.00 from the highest to the lowest price. And I only spent about 3 hours worth of my time. I have bought my last 4 cars this way and now I usually have the one dealership wins most of the bids. Because they have figured out I mean what I say. I want the lowest price.

So let sum it up buying your car stress free.

Choose from three or four car dealerships.
Pick car dealerships that you know most likely are in competition with each other.
Make sure you talk to the sales manager, he want to sell cars.
Make sure you know exactly what your looking for.
know what your budget is and what you absolutely do and don’t want.
Be completely comfortable with the final price and deal that you are getting.
