They are the world third largest car manufacturer and always a popular choice for car leasing or contract hire, Ford were established in 1903 by Henry Ford and their first huge success was the Model T which was the first ever production car. They produced over 12,000 Model T which was an unprecedented level but they sold and gave ford the foundation to become the huge corporation today.

Ford Focus – perhaps one of the most popular models currently available is a small family car which is always a popular lease. It was launched in the UK in 1998 and re-launched in 2005 and quickly became the best selling car following on from its older brother the Escort. Its styling was seen as a continuation of that seen for the Ka and Cougar.

Ford Mondeo – A larger family car option is named after the Latin word for the world which is apt as the car become hugely successful all over the globe. Launched in 1993 the car has longevity and continues to be as popular now as when it was first unleashed. It initially was intended as a replacement to the Sierra but has since eclipsed the sales figures of the previous model.

Ford Fiesta – a small hatchback that is popular with those looking for small car that is still a practical size. The Car is now over thirty years old and the various generations have sold in combination well over ten million models. The latest version of the fiesta was given a face lift in 2005 with an all new version expected to be released in March of 2008. The new version is expected to be larger that the current fiesta and is also expected to form the basis of a new smaller Volvo, who are owned by Ford.

Ford Galaxy – launched in 1995 the galaxy proved to be one of the most popular of the first generation of MPVs available in the UK. The original Galaxy was a joint venture between Volkswagen and Ford and featured predominantly VW parts. The newer Galaxy which became available in 2006 was made entirely by Ford. It was larger in every direction in a move to differentiate itself from the sporty S-Max.

Ford StreetKa – A special model of the popular small Ford Ka it featured an impressive body kit, stiffer suspension and larger set of alloy wheels than the standard model. It was quite a bold departure from the traditionally cute Ka.
